Caring for others through the gentle art of therapeutic touch

Have you ever heard of Rhythmical Einreibung (RE) or wondered what it is?

Rhythmical Einreibung (RE) is useful for Health Care Professionals as well as anyone wanting to offer family and friends calming, healing touch.

Come along to this informal day workshop to discover the benefits of this very gentle form of therapeutic touch and meet Fiona Sim who is the Course Leader on the Rhythmical Einreibung Foundation Course at Emerson College.

During the workshop you will have a chance to learn: what RE is, who it is suitable for, when to give it and what oils to use; and gain insights into four key qualities of RE:

• Touching with full attention

• Touching with a relaxed hand

• Touching with warmth

• Touch with a rhythmical quality

You will also have the opportunity to practice three 10-minute treatments for the foot, shoulder and back.

The workshop is open to all and provides a great introduction for anyone interested in learning about Rhythmical Einreibung.

Fiona is a Registered Nurse, Anthroposophic Nursing Specialist & Rhythmical Einreibung Practitioner. She has experience working with children with special needs and terminally ill patients, as well as teaching both Nursing and Rhythmical Einreibung.
