a summer workshop facilitated

by John Playfoot

Friday 7-9pm there will be a public talk with slides on the theme

The workshop will run Saturday and Sunday 9.30am – 5pm

“I knew that in finding the mandala as an expression of the self I had obtained what was for me the ultimate. Perhaps someone else knows more but not I.” C. G. Jung

There are almost endless manifestations of the mandala. In this workshop, we will focus on key elements that give the mandala a relevance to our own life experience. We will be working individually and in small groups using a variety of media including wax crayons, found objects and the technique of oil rubbing.

John Playfoot is a practising artist and art therapist. He also teaches and runs workshops. He has been researching mandalas and working therapeutically with them for a number of years.

£160 (£140 conc.) for the workshop, including the talk

£10 for the talk only.
