Isis Sophia Maria

This is an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the Isis Sophia Maria Mystery, it's meaning and significance in our personal lives, professional life's as doctors and therapists and in our time. 

Through working with the imagination of the Isis Sophia Maria that lives in the ancient Egyptian myth and Rudolf Steiner's New Isis myth, we will aim to share our understanding of the tasks and challenges of our time: 

what it means to be human, what is being asked of us, and what we might bring to birth. 

Our starting point and basis will be the ancient Egyptian Osiris Isis myth alongside Steiner's New Isis myth. There will be short presentations with conversation on the theme, as well as biographical and artistic exercises.

This is a PABC (Professional Association for Biographical Counsellors) hosted event, and is limited to 12 participants. Places are offered on a first come first serve basis.

Margli Mathews is a biographical counsellor, supervisor and trainer with over 30 years' experience in private practice and adult education. She taught for many years at Emerson College and was director of the Diploma Course in Biographical Counselling.  

Pauline Marksteiner is a biographical counsellor and supervisor for 20 years at St Luke's Therapy Centre, Stroud, Gloucestershire with individuals, couples and groups. She teaches two training courses, and has co-facilitated OASIS for the past 16 years.
