The Dialogue will be virtual and take place on Monday 3 July 2023 at 1:00-2:30 pm CEST (Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, GMT + 02:00). This invitation is open to all civil society members, please share this invitation with your networks.

This dialogue is part of a series of CSO Dialogues with the WHO Director General to better understand civil society priorities and strengthen the important relationship between WHO and Civil Society Organizations.

This dialogue is part of a series of CSO Dialogues with the WHO Director General to better understand civil society priorities and strengthen the important relationship between WHO and Civil Society Organizations.

Organized by the “The People’s Declaration for Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Healthcare” (TCIH Declaration), a worldwide civil society coalition of users and practitioners of traditional, complementary and integrative healthcare, this dialogue will aim to:

  • Re-affirm WHO’s commitment to CSO voices and priorities around Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Healthcare
  • Discuss CSO priorities for TCIH
  • Propose concrete actions to WHO engagement with CSOs working on TCIH

It is organized in the lead up of and contributing to the WHO Traditional Medicine Global Summit on 17 and 18 August 2023 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, and in support of the work of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine to harness the potential of traditional medicine from across the world to improve the health of people and the planet.
