Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We had a wonderful first two lecture study meetings; thank you everyone who came!

Lecture 1:

Matthew Mirkin summarised the first lecture. In our discussion we focussed a lot on warmth; warmth as a bridge between the soul-spiritual and the physical, the warmth differentiation of the organs, its relationship to the I. What then guides the I in the warmth? We also discussed 'macroscoping' and 'microscoping' - in a reductionist world, how do we maintain a bigger perspective? One specific question related to the story of the figs and the 'honey forming process' - how could we use this in the treatment of diabetes?

Lecture 2:

Alina Hüttisch gave us a summary of the second lecture. For the second lecture, we were particularly focused on the 'heap of earth' that the physical body produces with nutrition, and the 'death process' that the I brings to counteract this in the day time. How does this relate to fasting, for example? We also discussed the radical picture that illness arises from the feeling life, and that a new sense for the feeling life is needed; we discussed the six basic exercises (Nebenübungen) in their relationship to developing the heart as a sense organ for feeling and also that they help to stabilise the inner life.

More info of the summaries, can be found here.

Study Meeting: Tuesday 20:00 CET

Language: English - with the possibility of breakout rooms in other languages such as German, if there is the need.

Anyone is welcome who feels connected to our impulse or our conference. You can read the lectures in preparation (HERE) if you choose. However, we will also make groups for people who are new to the course so you don't have to know it in advance. More info can be found  here.

We look forward to meeting you,

Matthew and Tania
