Exploring Anthroposophic Medicine as an extension of the art of healing

We invite you to attend our event at Solas Bhride on Saturday 31st August. The aim is to explore the theme of "Warmth as a healing process" with reference to anthropsophic medicine and the indications given by Dr Rudolf Steiner and Dr Ita Wegman. Anthroposophic medicine is not an alternative medicine but is firmly based in modern Western medical practice. However it sees the human being not just as a machine or physical body but a being of soul and spirit aswell. Too often medical practices are reductive and materialistic not encopassing the whole human being. You will learn about the unique approach of anthroposophic medicine which uses both allopathic and homeopathic treatments, but also various therapies such as eurythmy, rhythmical massage and art therapies.
